I became very interested in discovering my family tree many years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed finding old pictures that people have shared over the years letting me put a face to the name of my relatives I have yet to meet. This kind of sparked into a hobby. I love to aquire old photos with names through estate sales, auction sites, or anywhere. I will research the names and try to locate them on findagrave and ancestry to connect their photos to their names. I make all the photos public. I do not understand those that say you can not use the photo to put in your family tree. You can use ANY of my photos! :) This is why I go through the process of connecting them to their families. It is a joy to me to be able to bring joy to others seeing a face of their distant relative for the first time. I also am always open to resell any of the family lots that I purchase for the cost that I paid for them. The joy for me is the process of connection, but it makes me super happy when the items can be connected back to living family. God Bless!
