EMMA KENNEDY
ONEIDA -- Mrs. Emma Kennedy, 71, widow of Michael Kennedy, died yesterday, April 14, 1936, at the family home 310 Lenox Avenue, after a long illness.
She was born Dec. 21, 1864, on the Irish Ridge Road, and had lived in Oneida 25 years. Her husband has been dead several years.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. John Patterson, Oneida, and Mrs. Elias Van Slyke, Rome; three brothers, Joseph Hyland, Oneida; Henry Hyland, Rome, and Alvin Hyland, Syracuse; one sister, Miss Catherine Hyland, Oneida, besides several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kennedy was a communicant of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
