Mrs. Henry (Martha) Grundeman, 72, 1012 Jackson Street, died at 1:55 a.m. Saturday in Perry Memorial hospital which she entered Jan. 17.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran church with Rev. Walter Wehmeier, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery under direction of the Parker Funeral home.

Mrs. Grundeman was born Feb. 8, 1901 at Fairview, Oklahoma. She attended Perry High School before accepting employment with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Prior to her marriage, she resigned her position as chief operator. On June 22, 1921 she was married in Perry to Henry Grundeman who preceded her in death Sept. 6, 1968.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran church and Unit One of Christ Lutheran Women's Missionary league.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Morris (Dorothy) Bowers, Perry; two granddaughters, Cheryl (Bowers) DeJager, LaPalma, Calif., and Joy (Bowers) Adler, Perry; two brothers, Otto and Max Baetz, both of Perry, and five sisters, Mrs. Roy Cowell, Mrs. Charles Schaefer, Mrs. Don Lumbers and Mrs. Otto Thiele, all of Perry, and Mrs. William Piel, Ponca City.
