Mary Alice ZIMMERMAN, 69, Rt. 7 (Barrett Road), Rochester, died at 2:55 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Hospital, where she had been a patient three weeks. She had been in failing health seven months. She was born Oct. 1, 1915 at Mt. Zion to Frank and Nellie Grace SHELTON Van DUYNE, and lived most of her life in this community. She was married Aug. 2, 1951 at Silver Lake to Robert B. ZIMMERMAN, who survives. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Christian Women's Fellowship of the church. Surviving with the husband are three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Doris) GOUDY, Portage; Mrs. Nick (Nancy) KEEL, Wichita Falls, Texas, and Mrs. David (Cathy) GINTHER, Rt. 5, Rochester; three sons, Thomas ROSE, Rockford, Ill.; Carl ROSE, Crown Point, and Joe Bob ZIMMERMAN, Rochester; sixteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathryn RENTSCHLER, Fulton, and Mrs. Harold (Mae) CRILL, Rochester; three brothers, Fred and Robert [Van DUYNE], both of Rochester, and Don [Van DUYNE], Kewanna, and nieces and nephews. A sister, Lucille MACY; two brothers, Joe and Virgil [Van DUYNE], and a niece preceded in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Foster & Good Funeral Home in Rochester with the Rev. Teal YOUNCE officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Cancer Fund.
