Willie Carl Larson, only son of R. Larseon of Rutland, died Sunday, May 31. He was born February 17, 1878. Has always been at home and worked with his father; he showed a noble and upright character and was very respected in the community. Seven years ago he made a trip to Madison on his bicycle, came home very overheated and was sick for some time and has never been well ever since. Especially the last two years proved more and more that his brain had been affected. He became more and more melancholy, and now and than he was not conscious of his own sayings and doings, and in such a condition he ended his life.

He leaves to mourn him, his parents and four sisters. The funeral services were held June 3, and a very large member of neighbors and friends had gathered to show their sympathy. Rev. Brown, of Brooklyn, spoke in English at the home; Rev. Hjortovang conducted the service at the church in Danish. The remains were laid to rest in the Graves cemetery under the auspices of the Woodman camp of Brooklyn.

As pall bearers were: C H. Walker, Jo. Millspaugb, MC. Karmgard, H.J. Andersen, Tony Kroyer, Leslie Peterson.
