Ralph Buckner Funeral Home of Etowah announces the death and funeral services for Mr. David Manuel Edmonson age 45 of Athens who died Sunday as the result of an automobile accident. David Edmonson was born November 30, 1963 in McMinn county, Tennessee the son of the late Luther Manuel and Gladys Magelane Edmonson. And was preceded in death by his wife Cherie Ann Weir Edmonson and a brother Calvin Luther Edmonson.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Alisha and Elijah Evans of Athens; a son and daughter-in-law Michael and Katie Edmonson of Athens; sister and brother-in-law Wanda Ruth and Bob Roberts of Niota; brothers and sister-in-law Lester Howard and Robin Edmonson and Johnny Edmonson of Athens; five grandchildren Houston Evans, Tyler Evans, Sarah Edmonson, Emma Edmonson and Austin Evans. Moterh-in-law Barbara Weir Hawkins of Ten Mile. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm from the Chapel of the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home of Etowah with Reverend Bob Roberts officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 until 7 Tuesday evening.
Interment will follow in the McMinn Memory Gardens Wednesday at 12:00 noon with a white dove release ceremony.
Pallbearers include Lucky Duggan, Steven Duggan, Boober Edmonson, Danny Edmonson, James Morrow and Johnny Robinson.
