JESSIE THOMAS MOORE SUCCUMBS AT 65
Mr. Jessie Thomas Moore, age 65, passed away at his home Friday night, Nov. 7, 1952. Mr. Moore has lived in Winfield for the past 34 years and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Ellie Randolph Moore; and two daughters; Mrs. L N (Lorene)Phillips of Bear Creek and Mrs. L E (Larue)Harbin of Winfield; three grand children; William Thomas and Julia Ann Harbin and Joan Phillips.

Funeral services were held from the Winfield Church of Christ with James W Falkner of Tupelo, MS and Bro. Ferris W Havard, local minister officiating. Burial was in the Winfield Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Herbert West, Dewey Burks, Clarence Hubbert, Millard McCaleb, Lloyd Hubbert and Sterling Pate.

Honorary Pallbearers were Culbert Davis, Chester Boxtick, J. W. Estes, W. R. Rose, Brody Rose, Horace Phillips, George Morris Harbin, Dr. T. E. Boston, Dr. E P Mobley, Dr. M C Hollis, Bud Carothers, Murry Cobb Hollis, Carlos Russell, Murry Lucas, Gordon Crawford, Ivan Hill, Raymond Sizemore, R W Mills, E E Ivie, Almon Hosch, Leburn Barnes and A C Carter.

Flower girls were ladies fo the Church of Christ and close neighbors.

Those from out of town attending the funeral were; Mrs. N T Mothershed, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Roberts, Mr. & Mrs. James Raines, Leburn Barnes and Mr. & Mrs.Edgar Bohanon of Fayette; Mrs. Pete Pearce and Sarah of Amory, Castor Williams, Mr. & Mrs. Felix McDonald of Birmingham; Mr. & Mrs Clinton Hubbert of Jasper; Mr. & Mrs. Horace Phillips, Mr. & Mrs. John Bull and Miss Elsie Phillips of Bear Creek. Also relatives from Fayette, Belk, Columbus, MS, Meridian, Birmingham, Vernon and Washington DC.
