Robert Lee Moore, 84 of Fayette died June 11, 1969. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 12 at the First Baptist Church in Fayette. Rev. A M Nix and Charles Davis officiated. Burial was at City Cemetery. Howell Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Moore was born 5 May 1885 and was the son of James Thomas and Ellen Estes Moore of Belk, AL.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Foster Moore & one son Onette Moore.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Homer C Dobbs (Juanita) of Birmingham and Mrs. J E Cannon (Louise) of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Cooper (Harvey) of Kennedy, Mrs. Bessie Smith (Winfred) of Meridian, MS, and Mrs. Annie Belk (James O)of Fayette, two brothers, Charlie (Addie Lou) and Jonas (Ella) Moore of Fayette; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
