INMAN-- Leroy Gilbert, 62, husband of Margaret Burrell Gilbert of Route 8, died Monday morning in Spartanburg General Hospital.
Native of Polk County; he was the son of Squire and Lela Turner Gilbert; a retired textile worker; member of Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church.
Also surviving: sons, Calvin Gilbert of Boiling Springs, David, J.L.mm and Everette Gilbert of Inman, daugher, Miss Martha Gilbert of Inman; brothers Pinkney Gilbert of Spartanburg, Harvey and Clarence Gilbert of Inman; sisteres, Mrs Velda Blanton, Mrs Bessie Blackwell, Mrs Nellie Banks and Mrs Grace Ledbetter of Inman; 12 grandchildren.
Services 2 Wednesday at Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church by the Revs. Larry Hoots, Glenn Burrell and Robert Price; burial in church cemetery.
Pallbearers: James Hollifield, Donnie and Gary Burrell, James Hollifield, Junior and Tony Gibert.
Body at home after 3 today.
