Mrs. Betchie was born December 15, 1907, in Slovakia to John and Mary Miklosovich.
She was a graduate of the former St. Michael High School, Greenville.
Mrs. Betchie was a member of St. Ann's Church, Farrell; Slovak Home Ladies Auxiliary; and American Legion Auxiliary of Farrell Post 160.
Her husband, Frank F. Betchie, whom she married June 10, 1930, died February 13, 1972.
Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Joan) Ballish, Lorain, Ohio; and Mrs. Vincent (Vilma) Matsko, Hermitage; two sisters, Mrs. Guy Thraves, Lusby, Md.; Mrs. William ( Rose) Adams, Fairfield, California, and Elizabeth Suman, Youngstown; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph McAlllise; and a sister, Vilma V. Grega.
