Services Here For Florence Conner
Funeral services were held yesterday at the Wetmore Funeral home for Florence Rose Conner, who died here Monday.
The daughter of James and Mary Conner, Miss Conner was born in Taylor County, Grant Township, near Lenox, Feb. 11, 1897, and passed away at Bedford, Jan. 29.
Florence attended public schools and high school at Bedford. She lived all her life in this community.
She is survived by her parents; four brothers, George of Cumberland, Iowa, [James] Allen of New Virginia, Iowa, Warren of Cumberland, and Ansel of Clarinda, three sisters, Frances at home, Alice [Mary] Carmichael of Birdseye, Ind., and Clara Hullinger of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Rev. F. H. Cowles officiated at the services. Burial was in Fairview cemetery.
