Mrs. Emaline R. Burkholder, eighty-eight, widow of Joseph Burkholder, died at 3:15 p.m. (ST) Sunday at her home in Farmersville of complications. She was a member of the Groffdale Mennonite Church.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Susan Herr, Witmer; Mrs. Eliza Rupp, Ephrata; Mrs. Mary Nolt, Farmersville; Levi, Palm Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Ida Hoover, Groffdale; Mrs. Cora Reiff and Mrs. Annie Zimmerman, both of Bareville R.D.; Mrs. Katie Lausch, Farmersville; Frank, Lititz R.D. 1; and Ezra, Ephrata, R.D. 3. Fifty-six grandchildren, one hundred and three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. (ST) Thursday at the home with furthur services at 2 p.m. in the Groffdale Mennonite Church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
