Henry M. Fritts, 88, of toledo died at 3:40 a.m. Friday (Sept. 3, 1982) in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Barkley Funeral Home, Toledo. Burial was in the Drummond Cemetery, northwest of Toledo.
Mr. Fritts was born in Cumberland County, a son of Ira and Frances Fritts. He married Carrie Beals in 1915. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Ira "Bud" of Windsor and John of Toledo; two daughters, Frances Kerner and Margaret Harris, both of Toledo; two sister, Mary James and Maurine Bachert, both of Toledo; 26 grandchildren; 19 stepgrandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren and 38 great-great-grandchildren. Four brothers, six sisters and four great-grandchildren preceded him in death.
Mr. Fritts was a retired farmer and a member of the Toledo Christian Church.
