Ira H. Fritts, 92, of Sullivan formerly of Windsor passed away at 6:45 p.m. Friday (May 3, 2013) at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor with Rev. Richard Eident officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery in Sullivan. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital

He was born June 29, 1920 in Toledo the son of Henry and Carrie (Beals) Fritts. He married Ellen Devore in 1940. He then married Vera Adams Craig July 29, 1960 and she preceded him in death April 18, 2008.

He was retired from Neal Tire in Mattoon, affiliated with the Windsor Christian Church and a member of the Odd-Fellows.

Surviving are sons, Steve Fritts of Stewardson, Rick Fritts of Bethany, John Craig and Jim Craig of Windsor and Ellis Craig of Sullivan; daughters, Joyce Richeson and Linda Allen of Farina, Sandra McGovern of Pana, Genean Hendrix and Vera Ann Lumpp of Windsor and Kalea Turner of Clarksville, TN; 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
