Blanche E. Landes

Was born Dec. 31, 1894, Died Nov. 6, 1909. Age 14 years 10 months, 7 days. She was the oldest daughter of Joe and Lena Landes. Blanche, as everyone knew her was a loving daughter, with all her good qualities, Medical skill, the nursing and care of mother, father and kind friends that were numbered by the score, was given her but she had to die. But she died believing that all was well and that she would dwell in the sweet Bye and Bye, where there will be no more sickness nor sorrow, pain or death. She was a pupil in the Washington school until they moved to the county, and then she attended the __________ school. Her pallbearers will be a number of her classmates.

Death has been here and born her away
Just in the morning of her day,
As young as you she died,
Not long ago she filled her place
And sat with you to learn,
But she has borne her mortal race,
And never can return.

She leaves a father, mother, brothers and sisters, and a host of friends to morn their loss.
