He was the son of the late Charles and Mary Krissinger Goodling.
He was a retired plastering foreman for Novinger's, Inc., Harrisburg.
He was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church, Past Commander of American Legion Post 594, Hunters & Anglers Association, all of Middletown, and was an Army Veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel E. Hoke Goodling; son, Kenneth E. Goodling, Jr., of Millerstown; two daughters, Virginia D. Oakes of Hummelstown and Lorraine Beinhour of Harrisburg; four brothers, Charles, Jr., James and Albert Goodling of Elizabethtown and Harry Goodling of Bainbridge; four sisters, Reba Leonard and Arlene Kuhn of Elizabethtown, Isla Long of Ogden, Utah and Lois Conley of Denver, CO; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Alton, Paul, and David Goodling, and a sister, Velna Boylan.
A Tribute to Life Service will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown, with the Rev. Paul F. Zieber officiating. Burial will be in Hillsdale Cemetery.
A viewing will be from 12 noon to the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
