SARAH OGLINE had relocated to Salem, Columbiana County, Ohio with her older sisters and mother in 1854 from Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania after their dad had been arrested again, and sent to confinement at Age 67 in Cambria County Jail in Ebensburg, Pa. possibly for many years.
OBITUARY published in Salem Daily Newspaper, Salem, Columbiana County, OH. July 29, 1921 whic read:
Mrs. Sara Ogline Shaffer, 82, died at her home on East Fourth Street at 6 a.m. Friday following an illness of dropsy, and heart trouble. Born Oct 15, 1839 at Johnstown, Pa. At the age of 15 she came to Salem with her mother and older sister and had since resided here. She was buried in the same cemetery as her mother & both sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Harry which whom she made her home, and E.M. Shaffer, Judsonic, Ark and one brother, William Ogline.
