OBITUARY published Fri 12/07/1934 in the Mahoning Dispatch Newspaper, Mahoning County, Ohio which read:

WILLIAM OGLINE, 88, died last week in the Ohio Soldiers' & Sailors' Home in Sandusky. The remains were brought to Canfield, where he formerly lived, and funeral services conducted by Rev. L. P. McCulloch were held at Williams Funeral Home Friday forenoon with burial in the village cemetery. His wife died several years ago. Surviving are two sons, Francis of Pittsburgh. Harry of DeLand, Fla., and three daughters, Mrs. J. F. Carroll, Canfield, Mrs. C. A. Schrader, Youngstown, and Mrs. Samuel Whitelaw, Akron."

Note: Union Army soldier during the Civil War. Mustered into Co. "A" 191st Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiment as a Private. Next of kin: Grace Ogline Carroll, dau, Canfield
