FENTON ( Spl.) - Funeral services for Charles William Rostrom, 71, will be held at the First Methodist church in Welsh today at 4:30 p.m. under the direction of Hixson funeral home of Welsh. Rev. Richard Ayers and Rev. Oakley Lee will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn cemetery in Welsh. Mr. Rostrom, prominent Fenton rice farmer and police juror of Jefferson Davis parish for 22 years, died at his home at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Rostrom of Fenton; one son, Ermon Rostrom of Fenton; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Ellington of Alexandria and Mrs. Donald Ladner of Aschaffenburg, Germany; one sister, Mrs. Robert Dezendorf of Kinder: three brothers, Cliff Rostrom of Orangefield, Joe Rostrom of Houston and Fred Rostrom of Kinder; and eight grandchildren.
