Leon Grady Braselton, 84, of Haynesville, a former Shreveport resident, died Tuesday at 7 p.m. at a Haynesville hospital.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Pineland Funeral Home Chapel in Homer.
A native of Homer, Mr. Braselton had been a Shreveport resident for 20 years. He moved to Haynesville four years ago. He was a retired employee of Gulf Oil Co. and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Homer.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Bell of Shreveport and Mrs. Mary Virginia Monzingo of Haynesville; two sons, Grady E. Braselton of Shreveport and J. Vernon Braselton of Alvin, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Snow of Haynesville; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randall Braselton, Gaylon Braselton, Ronnie Braselton, Robert Braselton, Roger Braselton, and Jimmy Monzingo, all grandsons of Mr. Braselton.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Gulf Oil of Homer.
