Judson Vernon Braselton

BENTON, LA - Services for Judson Vernon Braselton, 77, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2000 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Robert Beadle, pastor of First Baptist Church of Benton. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery in Homer. LA.

Family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2000 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel.

Mr. Braselton, a resident of Benton, LA, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2000 at his residence. He was a native of Bossier City, LA, and was a former resident of Homer, LA, El Dorado, AR, and Alvin, TX. Mr. Braselton graduated from Centenary College, and was in the 8th Air Force during W.W. II, retired from AMOCO after 28 years of service. Mr. Braselton was a member of the First Baptist Church in Benton.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Braselton; a brother, Grady Braselton; two sisters, Evelyn Bell and Mary Virginia Monzingo.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patsy Brantly Braselton of Benton, LA; three sons, Ronald Vernon Braselton and wife Pam of Oklahoma City, OK, Robert L. Braselton and wife Diana of Dickinson, TX, Roger Braselton and wife Melanie of Baytown, TX, six grandchildren, Kendra, Ron, Trevor, Troy, Amy and Ashley; many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be AMOCO co-workers.

Memorials may be made to Willis-Knighton Bossier City Hospice.
