Rance Searle, Founder of Bloom Master, passed away peacefully at his home on March 27, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer.


Rance was born on August 11, 1945 to Woodey B. Searle and Edlean Etta (Birdie) Abegglen and for most of his 63 years has been a resident of Vernal.


He went to Church College of Hawaii, B.Y.U. and Rangely Community College. He was very talented in many areas including music, art and horticulture.


Rance is survived by his best friend and companion Marty Hanson, his stepmother Vonetta Searle, his sisters: Doletta Giacoa of Reno, Nevada, Sonja (Lon) Seeley, brothers: Rhett (Lola) and Randy (Vickie) Searle all of Vernal. Rance is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Raymond Searle.


Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ashley/Maeser Chapel (1500 West 2975 North). Friends and family may call on Wednesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Mortuary and one hour prior to the services at the Chapel.
Interment will be at the Rock Point Cemetery under the direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
