Mrs. Stier Dies At New Holstein After An Illness
Kiel—Mrs. Theresa Stier, 75, of 2011 Wisconsin Avenue, New Holstein, passed away at her home at 4:30 p.m. Thursday following a lengthy illness. She was born in New Holstein on April 2, 1869, the daughter of the late Carl (sic) and Marie Eichmeier. On Nov. 18, 1889, she was joined in marriage to Carl Stier and following their marriage they resided on a farm in the town of New Holstein. For the past 27 years she had resided in the city. Her husband preceded her in death 24, years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John Malone and Mrs. Hattie Kephart, both of Chicago; two sons, Charles, New Holstein and Helmuth, town of Rhine; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at the family residence with burial in the city cemetery.
