By 1900, the family residence was located at Kay County, Oklahoma; 1905 Texas County, Ok; 1908 Kiowa County, Kansas; 1910 back in Oklahoma. In 1916 James sold the family homestead at Hardesty, Ok to his son-in-law Will Robertson (husband of Elsie) and rented a place at Hooker, Ok. In 1918, the Wrights made their final move to Colorado Springs, Co where they both passed in 1931.
