Rites for Mrs. Hannah Allen Clawson, 80, who was brought to Thatcher by her parents in 1900, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Second Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Born in Toquerville, Utah, Mrs. Clawson came to Phoenix in 1916 and had resided at 632 N. 11th Ave until several months ago when she entered a nursing home. She died Saturday in Phoenix Baptist Hospital.
She had been a worker in the Mormon Temple in Mesa and in the Phoenix Second Ward. She managed the LDS Bookstore at 518 N. Sixth St. From 1952 to 1964.
Surviving are two sons, Harold and Marion, both of Salt Lake City; three daughters, Mrs Ruth Kovalenko of Newport Beach, Calif., Mrs. Lucille DeWitt of Snowflake and Mrs Myrtle Poulter of Phoenix: 25 grandchildren, and 24 greatgrandchildren.
