"Mrs. Hannah White was born in Kent County, England and emigrated to America with her husband in 1816. After 10 years in the U.S., they came to Canada, settling in 1827 in Raleigh twp., where they both died, Mr. White 20 years ago, and Mrs. White on April 1, 1870 in her 90th year; survived by 5sons and 4 daughters. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren number 116. One of her sons is Warden of Kent Co. Another is a member of the Wesleyan Conference and Chairman of the B.C. District." Printed on May 11th, 1870.
