Samuel Dragoo, of Nineveh township, died last Monday night of cancer of the stomach. The funeral services were held at the M. E. Church conducted by Rev. Lee, of Edinburg.

Samuel married Margarett M. Bills, on July 28, 1853 in Johnson County Indiana.

Note: This Samuel H. Dragoo and his wife Margaret (Bills) Dragoo, should not be confused with a Samuel and Margaret Dragoo, who lived and died in Kansas, and are buried in the Lone Elm Cemetery, in Lone Elm, Anderson County Kansas. "That" Samuel Dragoo was born in Ohio in 1844, and was the son of Benjamin and Elizabeth Dragoo of Brown County Ohio. "That" Samuel and Margaret Dragoo, had only three known children: Charles, Oscar, and Pearl Dragoo.
