Mrs. Prescott, born October 3, 1926, died at 12:10 a.m. Monday, October 2, 1989, at Humana-Winn Parish Hospital in Winnfield after a long illness.
She was a homemaker and a member of East Winnfield Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Prescott of Winnfield, La., and Dennis Prescott of Baytown, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Annette Cook of Dickinson, Texas, Mrs. Joan Nesmith of San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Elaine Riley of Winnfield, La.; four brothers, Rev. Carroll Grice and Edward Grice both of Winnfield, A. J. Grice of Athens, Texas and Bob Grice of Texas City, Texas; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
