"Miss Anna B. Groner, of 1306 W. Main Street, died Monday at a Jefferson City hospital following an illness of about three weeks. A native of the Folk community, Miss Grover was born in 1894, a daughter of Stephen and Regina Veltrop Groner. She was never married.
Miss Groner was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality. She served as a housekeeper for her brother, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Bernard Groner, until her retirement.
Other survivors include: three nephews, Richard Groneer, Bernard Groner and the Rev. John Groner, all of Jefferson City, and one niece, Mrs. Regina Schepers of St. Louis.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 AM Thursday, at St. Joseph's Home with the Rev. Anthony bruzas, M. S. officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery, Folk."
