Dr. J. W. Elliott, fifty-nine years old, native of Cass county, died Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at his home at Linton, Ind., where he had been a practicing physician for the last 25 years. He was born on a farm in Harrison township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Elliott.
Surviving are the widow, one daughter, Miss Ruth; her brothers, Willard Elliott of this city; Walter Elliott of Port Huron, Mich.; Arthur Elliott of Salt Lake City, Utah, and two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Backus and Miss Alice Elliott, both of Lucerne.
Funeral services will be held at Linton Friday morning after which the body will be brought to Logansport for burial.
