Mollie Armor Greer-Bowman-Dabbs was the daughter of Wesley Robert Greer and Mary Jane Keele. She was born on Deer Creek, Burnet County, Texas. She married Henry Franklin "Frank" Bowman Jan 12, 1888. Frank was a cattle drover. having driven cattle up the Old Chisolm Trail several times. Frank and Mollie's children, Wayne Franklin Bowman and Charles Elmo Bowman, were born on Deer Creek, Burnet Co., Texas. After Frank's death in 1893, Mollie married Milton Brown Dabbs on October 13, 1897 and moved to Llano, Llano Co., Texas where she owned and operated the Dabbs Hotel. Mr. Dabbs had at least 7 children by a previous marriage to Emma Wiletta Bourland Dabbs, two of whom lived to adulthood, Othello Dupart Dabbs and Bulah Bonita Dabbs Moneyhon and two more children were born to Mollie and Milton. They were Walker Teas Dabbs and Ora Freda Dabbs Perry. When her children were grown Mollie relocated to Austin Texas and bought and operated a men's boarding house on San Antonio Street while Wayne, Elmo, Walker and Freda were attending school at the University of Texas. Mollie died in the home of her son, Wayne Franklin Bowman, in Houston, Harris County, Texas.
