Maggie Ann Greer was a daughter of Wesley and Mary Jane (Keele) Greer.

She married Robert E. L. Bourland on Sept. 25, 1889 in Lampasas, Texas. They lived in Oklahoma for a few years, then by 1900, back to Llano, Texas, farming. He was a retail merchant and Maggie a saleswoman by 1910.

Children:
1. Curtis/Curtice C., b. June 30, 1890 Texas , two years as a private in the cadet corps in Texas, Doctor of veterinary medicine, served in WW1.
2. Orena M., b. Dec. 1891 Oklahoma, bacteriologist for a water plant in Columbia, Ohio, in 1930 .
3. Mary Myrtle, b. June 1893 Oklahoma
4. Jessie Lee, b. 1902 Texas, wed Dorrance E. Monroe, died June 6, 1944 in Rock Island, Illinois.

In 1920 he was farming in Ames, IA. After 1935, she and her husband moved to Oskaloosa, Mahaska County, IA., where Robert continued to farm part time.
