RHEATA KAHN ALLEN
Rheata Kahn Allen, 69, of 800 Scenic Hwy., died Sunday.
Mrs. Allen was a native of Pensacola and had resided in Pensacola for the past year and a half. She was a registered nurse for 43 years and an accomplished musician including the piano, organ and also played the Cello. She was currently the organist at Wesley Southern Methodist Church and was an ensign in World War II serving in the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include: a son, Dr. Herbert Victor Allen, III of Monroe, Ga.; a daughter, Michele Allen Isaacson of Gaithersburg, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Kling, Jr., Mrs. Richard Cole; and seven grandchildren.
Memorials services were held at 2 p.m., Monday at Waters & Hibbert with Rabbi N. William Schwartz officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Temple Beth-El.
