Reported aboard the USS Foote DD511 at San Pedro, CA March 1944 serving as medical officer. Sent to Phillipines and Okinawa. Arrived in New York October 1945. Discharged from active duty May 1946. After a fellowship at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, LA practiced medicine (family practice) in Springhill, OH and Mobile, AL. Retired July 1985.
