Mrs. Barbara Madl, 68, died Oct. 3 at her home on Route 3, near Baldwin. Funeral services were held Oct. 6 at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Baldwin, with Rev. Robert Pool in charge. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery.

Surviving are her husband, Joe F. Madl, of the home; five daughters, Marian Madl, of the home, Catherine Madl of Lawrence, Mrs. Herman Butell of Baldwin, Mrs. Steve Jacob, of
2032 Ky. St., and Mrs. Ron Evilsizor of 2035 Ky. St.; four sons, Bob Madl, Art Madl, Ralph Madl and Alois Madl all of Baldwin; two sisters, Miss Eleanor Hadl, of Lawrence, and Mrs. Caroline Frank of Toledo, Ohio; two brothers, Gus Hadl of Route 5, and Vitus Hadl of Lecompton, and 17 grandchildren.
