MILLER, MR. WOODROW THOMAS - age 85, of Sharps Chapel, born November 14, 1914, passed away 7:45 a.m. Monday, November 15, 1999, at his home. He was a sergeant in the CCC and an active alumni member; retired employee of the Ford Motor Company, Sandusky, Ohio plant; active member of Ford UAW Union and was a master wood crafter. Preceded in death by wife, Alta Sowder Miller; parents, David and Flossie Miller; brother, George Miller; eight half-brothers and sisters. Survivors: sons, Everett Miller, Grainger County, Tenn., Thomas Miller of Villa Hill, Ky., Ted Miller of Sharps Chapel; daughter, Wilma (Miller) Sharpe, Sharps Chapel; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clarence Miller, Connor Miller, both of New Tazewell, Jack Miller of Kokomo, Ill.; sisters, Agnes Hunley, Knoxville, Madie Mack, Clinton, Laura Cole, New Tazewell; half-sister, Myrtle Cawood, Monroe, Mich.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday, Cooke Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Larry Collins officiating with music by Darlene Collins. Interment will follow in Brogan Family Cemetery. Pallbearers: Bud Miller, Kevin Miller, Randy Sharpe, Tomm Miller, Teddy Miller, Derrick Miller, Stephen Miller. Cooke Mortuary, Maynardville in charge.
