Otto L. Jensen was born Sept. 1, 1903 at Erwin, So. Dak. to Jens and Ida Jensen. Otto attended Erwin school and 2 years of mechanic School at Kansas City, Kansas. On August 24, 1929, he married Ella M. Olson in Sioux Falls. The couple farmed in rural Lake Preston area before moving to Sioux Falls in 1960. Otto was employed with Farmers Market Furniture until 1908. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. His survivors include his wife, Ella M. Jensen; 5 sons, Donald V. Jensen, Lonnie L. Jensen, and David O. Jensen, all of Sioux Falls, Arden E. Jensen and Lyle L. Jensen, both of Lake Preston; 4 daughters, Marilyn J. Person of Pierre, Carol L. Holbeck, LuAnn K. Decker, and Sheryl F. Harris, all of Sioux Falls; 22 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; also 2 sisters, Mrs. Gertie Rossel, Bryant, SD and Mrs. Nora Joehnck, Harlingen, TX; and 1 brother, Walter Jensen, Grass Valley, CA. The family extends an invitation to join them at the church for refreshments and fellowship following the funeral service before leaving for Lake Preston.
