Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Birdville Church of Christ, 3208 Carson St., Haltom City. Robert Dodson will officiate. Interment: Following a committal service Mary will be laid to rest beside her husband, Monroe Brown, in Bourland Cemetery, Keller. Visitation: Mary will lie in state 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Sylvania Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
Mary was a longtime member of Birdville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Brown, founder and operator of Brown Monument Company for 50 years in Haltom City.
Survivors: Sons, Lynn Brown and wife, Carol, of North Richland Hills and Tim Brown of Haltom City; daughter, Beverly Tucker and husband, Tommy, of Ohio; sister, Dolly Bruce of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, including Landon.
