The Gile family has always been a huge mystery. The few people I knew lived hundreds of miles away and every time someone tried to figure out lineage, they always hit a dead end.

In 2021 I finally tackled the challenge and found family across the country, thanks largely in part to Find a Grave and the memorials the community had made already. I now hope to be that same help to others.

I am also working on connecting memorials of family members in my tree that have been uploaded to this site without any familial ties. Do not hesitate to reach out if there are questions about an edit I have suggested.
