The victim had been employed by the Southern Railway for 37 years and was well known to the employees of the railroad. The body was brought to Knoxville and taken to the E. B. Mann undertaking establishment to be prepare for burial. Announcement of the funeral had not been made last night.
Mr. Cox is survived by his widow, Emma C. Bayless Cox; three daughters Mrs. Oliver Tittles, Mary Kate Cox, Caswell, Tn. and Mrs. Helen Kimbrough of Virginia and three sons, Plummer Cox Alpha, Tn, Hugh Cox, Knoxville and Roy Cox, Caswell, TN.
Preceded in death by his father and mother, Leroy Cox and Alice Bales Cox.
