She was first married to Glen Kimbrough and had a son Lawrence Neil and a daughter Ruby Irene.
She later married William J. Wilson.
Helen had two sisters; Mary Kate Cox and Ollie Cox and three brothers; Charles P.Cox, Hugh Cox and Roy Cox.
She died on April 26th 1977.

She was the widow of William J. Wilson and a member of Holston Hills Freewill Baptist Church.

Several other neices and nephews; nine grandchildren and even great-grandchildren.
