The 1900 census recorded that she was born in Dec 1890; however, the death certificate states that she was born in 1894. Married Hazel Vern Crary on 3 Jul 1916 in Bismarck, Burleigh Co, ND. They had no children. She died from a ruptured pancreas.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of James R. Garlick for Mrs. Elva Jean Crary, who died in a local hospital here yesterday. Interment will be in East Lawn.

Mrs. Crary, a native of North Dakota, was 48 years of age. She had lived here since 1935.

The survivors are her husband, H. Vern Crary; sisters Jewell W. Doan and Mrs. Arline Fry and brothers, John C. and George H. Doan.
