Mrs. Allie Alford Brock, 83, a native of Mt. Hermon and a resident of New Orleans died at
6 a.m. Monday at her residence.
She was a retired sales manager for Avon Products, a member of the Suburban Baptist
Church in New Orleans and the widow of Shelton Brock.
Mrs. Brock is survived by two daughters, Elma B. Mayley of New Orleans, and Zelma
Brock of Charlottesville, VA; also seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Crain Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday until time for the funeral
services at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Ben Blackwell officiating.
Burial followed in the Bogue Chitto Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Hermon,
