This Memorial is a Cenotaph located at this cemetery for his "Burial At Sea"

Born in the hamlet of Apperley, Deerhurst, Gloucestershire England. Son of Dianah (Diana) Harris and Thomas Sr. Bloxham. Christened 10 May 1840 at Deerhurst Church. At ten months old, boarded the sailing vessel, "Echo" 16 Feb 1841 at Liverpool with his family. (Had been named for his paternal grandfather who remained in England.)

A month out to sea, in American waters, he became ill, died and his little body committed to a burial at sea. Because of foul weather, the ship was driven back so often, it was another month to docking at the harbor of New Orleans, where the death would finally be recorded on the ship's log; this is why his death place is listed as in New Orleans instead of "At Sea".

His mother died, 1847, at Florence (Omaha), Douglas County, Nebraska and is buried at the Winter Quarters Pioneer Cemetery there.

His brother and namesake, Isaac III Bloxham, who was born a year & a half after this baby's death, is buried here at Cambridge. Also buried here is his father; so, rather than create a "Burial At Sea" category for him, this memorial is placed with his family for more clarity of his identity.
