Harry Clayton Nibel, 72, 636 Fourth Street, Berthoud, died Tuesday in Grandview Manor Health Care Center.
The son of Harry and Laura Anne Weeks Nibel, he was born Nov. 25, 1911, in Eagle Grove, Iowa. He married Iris Stensrud March 1, 1947, in South Sioux City, Neb. He is a retired farmer and carpenter. He came to Berthoud from Coralville, Iowa about 1969.
He is survived by his wife, Iris Nibel, Berthoud; two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Mabel) Kidder, Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. Michael (Elaine Kay) Burgess, Sheffield, Texas; two brothers, Robert Nibel, Paton, Iowa, and Lowell Nibel, Fort Collins; step-daughter Mrs. Leroy (Irene) Young, Ft. Dodge, Iowa, Andrew Booheister, Rutland, Iowa; two
grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and two step-great
grandchildren.
A service will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Berthoud Presbyterian Church with the R. Morris Churchill officiating.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made the the Heart Fund.
Berthoud Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
