"Lowell D. Nibel"
Lowell D. Nibel, 56, of Fort Collins died Monday, July 11, 1988, Poudre Valley Hospital.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am Thursday at Goodrich Chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Nibel was born Dec. 12, 1932 in Laurens, Iowa. He married Donna Mae McIlree on April 28, 1955, in Iowa City, Iowa.
He moved to Fort Collins 25 years ago from Iowa City, where he attended the University of Iowa; and served as Corporal in the Army during the Korean War.
He owned and operated Nibel Painting for 24 years. He was a member of the Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Larry Nibel of Madisonville, Texas; and David Nibel of Denver; two daughters, Diane Valdes of Denver; and Debra Bader of Richland, Wash,; a brother, Robert Nibel of Paton, Iowa; and six grandchildren.
