Arie M. Anderson of Bedford, formerly of Oolitic, died Monday, February 2, 1998, at Bedford Hospitality House. Born on May 7, 1907, in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of Charles and Iva Pearl (Eastridge) Hubbard. She married John F. Anderson on November 28, 1928, and he died April 10, 1997. Surviving ar4e one daughter, Wynn Adams of Linton, IN; two sons: John Cameron Anderson of Bedford and Monte Anderson of Oolitic; one brother,Cletis Hubbard of Springville; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Maxine Stailey; one brother, Clarence Hubbard, and one granddaughter. She owned and operated Anderson's Variety Store for many years in Oolitic and was a member of the Oolitic United Methodist Church. Services for Arie Anderson will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 4th, at The Day & Carter Mortuary with Cam Anderson and the Rev. Kenny Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Hopkins Cemetery.
