She was a 1950 graduate of Oolitic High School, and was employed as a medical secretary at the IU Student Union Health Center. She married Kenneth Adams on April 14, 1952. They owned and operated Adams Masonry Contracting in Bedford. In 1963, Wynn was a pianist and Kenneth began in the ministry at Williams First Baptist Church until 1970, when they moved to Linton and served the First Baptist Church for 27 years, where she played the organ and piano, among many other duties within the church. She was a wonderful pastor's wife and loved the congregation.
Wynn loved sewing and playing piano. For many years, she made her children's clothing and coats, along with all of their wedding dresses. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed shopping, and she and Kenneth enjoyed spending time together fishing. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Reverend Kenneth Adams of Linton, three daughters, Kathy (Jim) Dodd of Linton, Kristy (Mike) Busch of Centerville, OH, and Kenya (Ed Guthrie) Adams of Linton, six grandchildren, Jaimee (Shad) Goodman, Justin (Melissa) Dodd, Andrea (Blake) Loy, Timothy Busch, Lancy (Bob) Shaw, Kenzie Lovelace, fifteen great-grandchildren, a brother, Cameron (Hettie) Anderson of Bedford, a sister-in-law, Rhea Anderson of Bedford, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Karen Lovelace, and a brother, Monte Anderson.
Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, with Rev. David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Rev. John Winders officiating.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 2-8 pm, and Tuesday from 10 am until the time of service.
