Lorena P. Thrash, aged 82, died in Caddo Valley Nursing Home Thursday, March 25, 1971.

Born at Kirby Jan. 20, 1889, she was the daughter of Fletcher A. and Julia Taylor Dingler. she had been a resident of Glenwood 63 years, was the widow of Thurman Thrash and a member of Kirby Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son: Lowell Troy Thrash of Glenwood; three daughters: Nola Mae Whitney, Faye Daniel and Donna Sue Giorsetti, all of Winkelman, Ariz.; three brothers: John Dingler and Floyd dingler, both of Kirby, and Elbert Dingler of Amity; four sisters: Mrs. Allie Thrash of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Willie Pasley of Orange, Calif., Mrs. Laura Paslay of Waco, Texas, and Lola Dingler of Kirby; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

Services were Sunday afternoon, March 28, at 2:30 o'clock in the First Baptist Church in Glenwood with Elder James Winston officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery by Davis Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Aaron Dingler, Harold Dingler, Ellie Dunlap, Freeman Dunlap, Deadle Thrash and Haze Pounds.
