Grace Maud Gillett was the daughter of Germon Gillett 1821 and Miranda Kenyon. She was born in Mexico, Oswego, New York. The family moved by 1880 to Wolcott, Wayne, New York.

Grace married George Willis Roe, the son of William Roe and Sarah Dill, on January 20, 1886, in Wolcott, Wayne, New York.

The couple lived in Wolcott. They had one child, Florence G (Maurice W) Mott 1892.

Mrs. Grace Roe, 82, Dies In Wolcott

Mrs. Grace Gillett Roe of Wolcott died Thursday of last week at her home in West Main St., following a long illness. Her husband, George W. Roe, who died in 1933, was a former president of the First National bank of Wolcott.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the home wit Rev. Chester Zogg, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Glenside cemetery..

Mrs. Roe was born in Mexico, N.Y., Dec 15, 1862, the daughter of German and Elmira Kenyon Gillett.

Surviving are a granddaughter, Ms. Frank Z. Hutton Jr., of Weedsport, and two great-grand-children.

Mrs. Grace Roe, 82, Dies In Wolcott
